Mooch Environmental Policy
Mooch is committed to providing a public art and design service in a manner that ensures a safe and healthy workplace for the Mooch team and minimises our potential impact on the environment. We recognise that we have social responsibilities that go beyond the provision of the relevant Acts and Regulations, and that we should support and contribute protecting the environment through all aspects of our work and practices. In so doing we will operate in compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and we will strive to use prevention and environmental best practice in all we do. We will promote environmental awareness among our team, encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner and educate and inform them about environmental issues that may affect their work.
Our commitment is to:
- Continuously improve our environmental performance and recognise environmental best practice into our business practice
- Reduce our consumption of resources and improve the efficient use of those resources
- Manage waste generated from our business practice according to the principles of reduction, re-use and recycling
- Manage our business operations to prevent pollution
- Give due consideration to environmental issues and energy performance in the design and execution of our projects
- Ensure environmental criteria are taken into consideration in the procurement of goods and services
- Comply with all relevant environmental legislation
To meet our commitments we will:
- Oversee and review environmental policies and performance and allocate resources for their effective direction and implementation annually
- Communicate internally and externally our environmental policy and performance on a regular basis and encourage feedback
- Communicate the importance of our environmental issues to our team and promote improved environmental performance
- Promote appropriate consideration of sustainability and environmental issues in the service we provide to our clients
- Promote and expect observation of the principles of the policy in the day to day running of the studio
This policy represents our general position on environmental issues and the policies and practices we will apply in conducting our business and will be reviewed on an annual basis. This policy is accessible via the mooch website and on request.
